Sustainability
in action in its
most beautiful form.

When the
workplace becomes
a CO₂-Storage.

Where wood shapes the future:
With our new building, we are giving something back to the environment.

Around 300 cubic meters of spruce wood and 80 cubic meters of wood fiber insulation bind carbon in the long term that was previously absorbed from the atmosphere by the trees. The result is a building that helps protect our climate every day.

With a heat pump, planned photovoltaic system, and our own charging infrastructure for e-mobility, we are consistently pursuing the path of energy self-sufficiency. Every building block of our company is part of a whole—a cycle in which nature, technology, and responsibility are in balance.

Fritz Kohl – where wood, through its beauty, not only shapes, but endures. For the future and for all of us.

At Fritz Kohl, we combine a fascination with fine veneer with a deep sense of responsibility for our environment.

Our production hall, once an old warehouse, has been renovated and expanded with passion and respect for resources. For construction, we rely on regional craftsmen—short distances, strong craftsmanship, shared values.

The adjacent new office building for Fritz Kohl Concepts reflects the same approach: built to KfW Standard 40, entirely from local spruce and larch wood, it is not only a modern workplace but also an active and permanent CO₂ storage facility.

Aesthetics and responsibility
in
harmony.

A further 150 square meters are covered with the liquid-poured natural flooring – a 100% recyclable, plant-based material consisting of castor oil, quartz, and natural dyes. Manufactured by Senso Schweiz.

The acoustics also blend harmoniously into this overall experience: Ackermann company developed acoustic panels especially for us that appear to flow seamlessly across all ceilings, creating an atmosphere in which sound, space, and material merge into one.

A working environment that inspires – and reflects our passion for exclusive veneers at every level.

Of course, sustainability is at the heart of all our construction projects – but aesthetics is just as important to us. We want to bring the same qualities that we convey to the world with our fine veneer into our own working environment: value, naturalness, and timeless beauty.

Because we are convinced that the more inspiring the space, the more creative the ideas that arise in it. Our new working environment embodies exactly that: the floor alone makes a statement. Covering around 200 square meters, it unfolds its full effect and brings warmth and liveliness to every room. The Wodewa company created individual wood tiles especially for us, which are made from our B-grade walnut and laid with precision craftsmanship. The result is an impressive mosaic floor made from upcycled material.
