Brand new production of Quilted Maple available now. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder – nowhere is this truer than in the world of veneers. Very different things are considered rare and beautiful by very different people in very different corners of the world. People change, as do tastes and the trends that evolve with them.
When it comes to Quilted Maple, however, there is rarely any difference of opinion – not regarding its rarity, which is just an objective fact and certainly not in regard to its beauty which is universally admired and used to spectacular effect in all kinds of exclusive environments, be they superyachts, private airplanes or five star hotels.
After a futile search of almost three years with no suitable material being available anywhere we finally struck gold in the summer of 2018 and were able to bring in a container load of beautiful Quilt from the American West Coast.
Most importantly, production turned out just as we hoped, yielding more than 8.000 m2 of material in different lengths, displaying the characteristic three-dimensional „bubble“ structure sometimes reminiscent of the surface of a turtle’s shell.
